Running can be fun and rewarding after the age of 50. My interest in running began when I noticed an elderly gentleman running every morning. Rain or shine he ran. After watching him for several months, I decided to give running a try. I found out that it wasn't so easy. I couldn't run from my sofa to the refrigerator without gasping for breath. I didn't even look like a runner. I had a
transitor radio with a single earplug strapped to my waist. I wore a pair of 9th grade gym shorts. It didn't matter to me.I got started.
I developed a passion for running. Along the way, I discovered the meaning of dedication and perseverance. I lost weight, gained confidence, and experienced numerous health benefits. I hope to share with you the joy of running, as well as tips, article reviews and links to assist you. So get Ready!
